Guangzhou (also known as Canton or Kwangchow) is the third biggest city in China after Beijing and Shanghai and is the capital of the Guangdong province in South China.Guangzhou is located on the Pearl River and is about 120 kilometres (75 miles) north-northwest of Hong Kong and 145 km (90 mi) north of Macau.
